Desktop Editors for HTML authoring are used by the WorkBench to allow you to create your look&feel in a simple and easy way. The editors usually provide a "What you see is what you get" [WYSIWYG] interface.
Licencing
You are responsible for licencing your editor. Promenta recommend one commercial editor and one open-source "free" editor. Your licence to use Promenta Webforms Framework and WorkBench in no way confers licences to any of the editors below.
Support
Promenta do not directly support the editors at the current time although we always help you if there are issues. We have been using the editors below for a long period now and - on the limited scope required for webforms - have had no support issues.
1) Adobe Dreamweaver
This editor is easy to use and robust. It is quite expensive per user but many organizations already have licences in place. It is very feature-rich.
